Our objectives were threefold: to account-manage the whole business; to conduct business analysis; and to align your strategy with ours. We walked through every process many times. We conducted benchmarking model development for the analysis and evaluation of investment potential so that decisions could be made more accurately. Members of the facilities and operations teams spent a lot of time identifying suitable sites. We conducted bi-weekly review meetings to track progress. A prime contractor was identified, plans were drawn up and work commenced. We have every reason to approach the coming year with confidence. The bid team was fifteen strong, covering the breadth of the business. This was the most demanding bid we’ve known and it’s not hard to see why when you see an inventory of the work that had to be reproduced and presented in the most professional way possible. We think you’ll agree that we have achieved our objectives. We announced last week that we are to increase our stake. We will be given powers to direct where we feel that standards are at risk. We believe that we should have such powers. We have been working with government. We are creating bespoke events. We are making a difference. Over eighty percent have chosen to work with us. This both a tremendous honour and a tremendous responsibility.
